About US
Our Story
MY Focus was created by Nelis and Melandri Pieters. Nelis comes from a CAPS-based structured public-school background, and Melandri comes from a Home School Cambridge self-learning background. Together, we bring the best of both worlds, establishing a strong alliance between self-learning and traditional lecturing. This balance is crucial for fostering a strong and secure child who can be creatively successful within both structured and self-made environments.
Over the past few years, we have worked diligently to create a small learning environment that allows students to reach their full potential in a safe and holistic setting. We have adapted to various circumstances, from the challenges of COVID-19 to working with diverse curriculum providers, to develop a formula that enables your child to master all curriculum KPIs efficiently. Our experience has shown that with the right structure, support system, and loving environment, students can achieve success in days or hours, compared to the weeks it might take with traditional lecturing and excessive homework.
